Only students registered at Sopilka Ukrainian Dance School are to enter the building. Parents are not permitted to enter the building unless permission is granted by Kristina Frykas with 24 hours of notification. If you have anything you need to speak to Kristina about in regards to your child or your classes, please email email@example.com or call 204‐285‐9530.
If someone other than the child’s guardian is bringing the child to the studio, this person’s name and contact information is to be communicated with Kristina Frykas for contract tracing purposes.
Dancers are to line up socially distanced outside the studio door and along the west side (Harrow side) of the building, or remain in their vehicles, until invited in.
Dancers are to arrive fully dressed with only their shoes and full water bottles.
Hands must be sanitized at the hand sanitizing station in the lobby before entering the studio.
10 minute breaks have been scheduled between classes to allow for the following:
One group to safely leaves
The next group to safely arrive
The studio to be sanitized. This includes fogging the studio.
Students will be allowed into the studio 5 minutes prior to the start of class and not until they are given permission to do so. The doors to the studio will be locked for the duration of all scheduled classes.
All instructors and assistants will be wearing masks at all times.
All dancers are required to wear masks.
As per current provincial public health orders, all dancers aged 18 and over MUST be vaccinated for COVID‐19 in order to attend classes. Proof of vaccination will be checked and noted during the first week of classes.
Dancers born in 2009 or earlier are STRONGLY ENCOURAGED to have their vaccinations against COVID‐19.
Exceptions to the above rule will be made to anyone who produces proof from the Government of Manitoba that there is a medical reason for the person not to receive a vaccine for COVID‐19.
COVID‐19 vaccination is MANDATORY and will be checked for all spectators (aged 18 and over) who may attend observation weeks, festivals, or the recital.
All instructors and assistants at Sopilka have confirmed that they are vaccinated against COVID‐19.
Any dancer aged 18 or over who is NOT vaccinated against COVID‐19 will be asked to do so by October 31, or be asked to participate in classes via ZOOM.
In the event that a teacher is sick and a substitute is not available, classes will be held via ZOOM or a pre‐recorded class will be emailed out to maintain activity within the week.
